When checking to see if my sources are credible I look at who wrote it and the year in which it was written. When looking at who wrote the article I check to see if that person is educated in that particular field. For the year that the article was written I make sure the year does not go back more than ten years. The sources that I believe are credible are sources that has been peered reviewed. The reason is because is proves to me that someone else who is an expert in that particular field has gone through and approve what was stated in the article. Yes, I believe that people can discuss controversial issues without being biased. The way by doing that is backup their reasoning with pure facts.
